WELLINK AND CAESAR JOIN IN TIMBER PROCESSING TECHNOLOGY
Wellink Machinetechniek from Groenlo is off to a promising re-start of the company under the wings of the Hencon Group from Ulft. The new division of the company will carry on under the name Wellink Caesar Timber Technology. For the moment Wellink Caesar will continue its operations from its existing premises in Groenlo, but to fully utilise the intended synergy advantages Owner-Manager Dirk Kuiken from the Hencon Group is considering the eventual concentration of the production in the facility in Ulft.
Healthy Under the ‘Dutch Dragon' brand name Wellink Caesar Timber Technology sells technologically advanced, professional wood chippers. The company is also a dealer for John Deere forestry machinery and is the producer/supplier of the well-known Caesar hydraulic excavators. With this programme Wellink Caesar can now supply the professional timber industry with a complete range of machinery for all transport, processing, chipping/shredding and milling work. Managing Director Kuiken is pleased with this development: "The activities of Wellink and Caesar complement each other wonderfully. That applies to the market aspects, but also when it comes to the production. Together with Hencon, Wellink Caesar keeps our production facilities in Ulft and Groenlo fully occupied."
Best in the world Wellink Caesar's parent company, the Hencon Group, is a producer and worldwide supplier of special vehicles for the aluminium industry. With Wellink Caesar, Hencon can now add the timber sector to its customer list. When it comes to ‘special purpose vehicles' the company can class itself among the best in the world. The Hencon head office is located in Ulft (The Netherlands). The company has subsidiaries in Siberia, South Africa, Mozambique and, more recently, India. END OF PRESS RELEASE

Second life after complete overhaul |

This Anode Paste Charging Vehicle is delivered in 1994 to Rusal Krasnoyarsk Russia. It ran almost 50,000 hours in 15 years, a huge achievement (from Hencon, but also from maintenance and users). Compared to a truck on public roads 50.000 hours means 3 - 3.5 million kilometers! After Hencon did an overhaul, the vehicle is ready again for many years of operation.
